About Ann

Ann Mugunga is a consultant for Feed the Future, funded by USAID, and the Principal & Founder of Netzah International School. With a PhD in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University and extensive academic qualifications, including an MA in International Communications and a BA in Mass Communication, she possesses a strong educational background.

With over 18 years of experience in teaching, communications, and management, Ann has expertise in research, journalism, editing, public relations, budget management, and change and management strategies. She has held notable positions such as Chief Editor and Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs at COMESA, as well as Assistant/Senior/Principal Editor of Hansard at the Parliament of Uganda. Additionally, she has served as a Lecturer at Makerere University and worked as a Reporter for The Daily Monitor. Ann has also contributed as a board member of the NGO Dwelling Places.

 Ann’s passion for social justice and evidence-based research is reflected in her publications in peer-reviewed journals. In her personal life, she fulfills the roles of a wife, mother, mentor, and teacher. During her leisure time, Ann enjoys reading, editing, writing, amateur photography, and traveling.
