If fashion is a crime, I choose to be a criminal—Bobi Wine’s designer Latif Madoi

“We do not make uniforms. We basically design custom made costumes for senior intelligent rasta, Sir. Bobi Wise @BobiWine for his special events. The overall that I made, I think was the main reason because he looked very smart and very striking. Fashion has a nice sounding attitude. If you are afraid it can threaten you. So, I think somehow they perceived it in a different way. That is why they made it to be a crime,” narrates fashion designer Latif Madoi. About 50 security operatives raided his fashion and design academy in Kawanda, on May 13, arrested him with four of his students, spoilt some of his properties, and carried away sewing machines and other equipment.
